can i export .dv files from red alert

I am trying to export some .dv files from my red material from RED ALERT to run through meta cheater and then edit in AVID....

is this possible

You'll have a problem with TC as the TC will be stripped off by AVID when read back in.

To make the files, bypass RED ALERT.

Drag 2K proxies to compressor and then render the files out with a DV preset.

Bingo.
