No Kaya it is more involved than that... I will go look for pics and info in the ether, I will be back shortly. :-)
Mike Curtis was just one of a handful of guys (Steve Gibby being another major source) that really brought early Red info to the forefront... Thanks Mike, those were great days.
Here is a link to the hdforindies and Mike's great pics, look for the super grip... first row, four pictures down.

I am sure we will get a sneak peak to whip up the masses before NAB. At least I hope we do... :)
Hope this helps... thanks to Mike Curtis for the archive and info.

Thank You Andrew!
Glad I could pass on Mike's hard work. :)
Kowboy, just glad to help.
I have been watching a lot of "Riding Giants" lately... you must be loving life living in Hawaii. Can't wait to see some footage from you... Also, I was really digging that shot of you getting your red package, classic.
Cheers-- Andrew

Curt, she looks like something out of an Apache... another must have accessory. Thanks for the better photo. I hope the Red Super Grip mates well with the handheld solution from ET.

Curt, will the Supergrip also be able to control B4 lenses and the Birger mounts? How soon to release and how much? This is an accessory that will be very welcomed.
Arthur, Thats the idea. It was first intended to run our motors but we ended up tossing in support for B4 lenses as well. Erik's system would require a few firmware tweaks but its totally possible. As soon as we get al our ducks in a row with the motors I'd expect that you'll see the supergrip resurface.... maybe a few months or less?

CVB and I talk regularly... we are even supposed to have tables next to each other at the REDuser party at NAB... intgration is on both of our lists, we just need to start shipping our respective products first.
