How many minutes film can you store on a 8GB card, in 4K, 3K, 2K?
Am I correct on this; when filming in 2K, RED use only a part of the sensor (which of course will give you a less shallow DoF).

On a 8gig card you get approximately:
4.5 minutes of 4K 24fps RAW REDcode28.
8 minutes of 3K 24fps RAW REDcode28.
12 minutes of 2K 24fps RAW REDcode28.
Theoretically :
4K 24fps RAW REDcode does approx. 28 MB/s, so on a 8gig card you get: 8000MB/28MB = 286 seconds = 4.7 minutes
Yes, with 2K you get a DOF comparible with 16mm film. 2k uses about a quarter of the Mysterium sensor.

Thank you Herring!
How large portion of the sensor is used in 3K mode?

Maybe I should be more precise:
2K 2048x1080 (~16mm) = 19% of sensor
3K 3072x1620 = 43%
4K 4096x2160 (~35mm) = 77%
4K+ 4520x2540 (~s35mm=Mysterium sensor) = 100%
So 3K uses approx. 43% of the sensor, but is 55% in size compared to 4K.
