I'm doing some prep work here in Vietnam but running into power cable incompatibility. Is anyone using the Bartech M-One with the RED that can point me to where I can order a power cable for the Bartech M-One so that it can be powered off the RED camera?
I have a friend who is flying over than can bring it to me.
I emailed Bartech but looking for a swift response just in case Bartech doesn't respond in time.
Thanks all for the help.

You are going to want to power that off of the D-tap on the power plate. The M-one can suck some major amps when it's going fast, so powering from the little connectors on the camera ain't a good idea. Jim at Bartech can make you one, or any of the usual suspects cable wise.
Cheers,
Nick

Thanks for the tip. I need this rather fast.. so if anyone else knows where I can find a solution that is already made..please do share. This does get me going in the right direction though. I will shoot another email to Jim for an ETA on how long it would take for him to whip one up.
thanks!

Tonaci, Drop Pana-Tech a PM. It's Easter Monday in the States but Tuesday in NZ. If he has something, he can get it out on FedEx today.

Hi Tonaci,
I have a spare that Jim made for me (still in the plastic - never been used) that I could FedEx to you immediately if you are still in need. Send me a PM and I will help you out.

If you have the BFD 4 pin xlr power cable you can temporarily remove the collar and the Pin 1 and 4 will fit very nicely into the Power-tap connector. Pin 2 and 3 will fit in the gap towards the battery.
Done this a few times myself when using it off my steadi with HD cam cameras when everything else had gone wrong....

Anders that is a GREAT tip. I can't believe I've never had to do that before.
