RED LCD for other cameras

Anybody have any interest in asking for an adapter to be able to use the RED
LCD on other ENG cameras?

Instead of buying the Panny 8 inch for 3500 I would love to see an adapter
that would give me the essentials of the RED LCD. for maybe a couple hundred

The custom resolution (1024x600) may be an issue/problem there - it doesn't sound like they are taking an HD-SDI input.

Then there is the custom cable config, which seems to be built around a re-configged DVI from what they've said.

So to adapt, would they not need an HD-SDI to WSVGA (the1024x600 format) adaptor? I don't see Red being incentivized to solve this for other folks, and for a third party, a small/pricey market to solve for.

...but if the EVF and LCD plugs are identical AND interchangeable, that bodes well for them taking in a standard size and scaling to fit the displays...again I don't know, just guessing here....
