RED Cart reviews?

What do the RED Cart owners think of it? Is it the right cart? I was thinking of getting it and the mitchell mount for it, but was hoping for some reviews here first. Thanks.

I dont have the Red cart, but I have the exact same cart (Yeager & Sons). It is great, very well made and is a workhorse. I also have the Mitchell mount which we use to hold or build the camera when not shooting.

It's a little Yaeger cart... not much to say about it. I personally find it a little small for a camera cart, but it's a great cart either way. What's there to say?

Yep. Most carts like this break down into themselves.

We have a couple of the large Yeager carts in Rental in NY. They are the Hummers of camera carts. Monsters, but they are terrific.

BTW- mine is the larger one, didnt realize Red was the smaller one. The larger one is the perfect size, but it is a beast. I have never broken it down, not really a feature imo as it is too heavy. We keep it built and roll it on the camera truck.

I have a large Rubbermaid cart. Modified with air wheels and a board on the side for tripods. The size is the same as the large Yaeger cart and the price with all the modifications is the same as well.
The reason why I got that one is that the Yaeger Cart is only available in the US while Rubbermaid is available in Europe as well.
It is not collapsible so you need a big car to transport it. I've seen a rental house in Boston that customizes it to make it collapsible though.

I love my Yaeger. I have the sr. size cart and I wouldn't suggest the jr. cart for anything but a monitor cart, or maybe a lens cart for a small lens package.

The yaeger sr with all accessories will actually break down and fit into my 2 door honda accord. That's what I love about it. However, this is not a fun process to do and I'm glad I only have to do it at prep/wrap.

The Red cart is SOLID. I like it a lot. Will collapse back down to a metal suitcase with wheels but we always leave it assembled.
True it is smaller than the Yaeger counterpart, but in my particular case...that's a good thing.

We just received a trio of them and they are the bomb. Built like a tank, heavy as hell and very versatile, especially at prep time. :)

Mine's been to Dubai and back and got the living shit kicked out of it by Air France. I love Paris but those French don't know the meaning of "Handle with care". Sufficed to say it came out a bit scratched and with a dented pole receiver (Probably from being thrown off a luggage carrier) but it took all of 5 minutes to hammer it back into shape. I don't think any other cart would have even survived.
