drop.io lets you store up to 100mb for the free version, up to 2gig for 10.00 USD per year. Unlike xdrive or others like that, you don't have to install anything to use it. Purely browser based. Plus if your storage needs go beyond 100mb, you can create several free "drop box's".
supports email and rss style notification, can password protect and set time limit on file availability. lots of other features.
