Correct me if I am wrong:
RED Drive = 320GB
4k2:1 @ 24fps at Redcode 28 = 180 minutes at 320GB
180 (minutes) / 100 (% scale) = 1.8
85% (left on the Media meter) * 1.8 = 153 minutes remaining
180 minutes - 153 = 27 minutes have all ready been recorded
1.8 is the magic number
Now this varies based on scene detail, and some other options, but generally I think this is pretty close. I just tested it and it was less than 1 1/2 minutes off.
