RED 1327 - Alive & Well in LA

Just got 'er this afternoon. Been placing my nikons up against the PL mount and shooting close up eyeballs like no one else's business.

Besides not having the Nikon mount, the package was sans Baseplate and Dovetail (all expected). Going to rent some PL glass this weekend and film a quick short. I'll also post some stills here soon, but I had to jump the gun and post to do vent my extreme excitement.

Congrats! The accessories look good. Looks like they corrected the finish issues. Are you happy with the fit and anodization?

I can't speak for the baseplate & dovetail yet, but all other finish and fit is spot on. Reddrive fits snug, all accessories seem to work well with eachother and the anodization is consistent.

Did you get a Fedex tracking number before your camera shipped. I'm in NJ (RED#1321) and haven't gotten a tracking number, yet. Waiting as patiently as a child on Christmas eve.:love:
