A few posts out there on the minimum cost to be up and running - anyone got a checklist of everything that a first-time camera owner will need? I don't own anything of value for use with the red camera, and I'm keen on pricing out what I'll need to budget to get a good package together...
Things like lenses, filters, matte box, follow focus, sticks, red accessories including batteries, drives, etc., storage cases, insurance, monitors, microphones, computer for "digitizing,"... etc. Anything critical missing? I'll probably also go for a lightweight dolly, jib, and light kit.
I'm mostly concerned with any expenses that get overlooked.
