View Full Version : 2 R3D files in one clip?

Shot some longer takes today, +2 minutes. When I look at the clip file, there are 2 R3D files. The QT proxies are normal.
Is this the norm when shooting long takes?

Yep, the cards and drive are all formated FAT32 so they can't make files larger than about 2gigs. The proxies glue them all together again.

hehe.. i havent even shot anything with it yet and im having so much fun with it.. such an amazing camera.. got it two days ago. Cant wait to have a viewfinder and lens for it..
