Hello,

Any video tutorial or simple to follow with easy 3 steps out there?:

1) Shoot 4k or 2k

2) Edit Proxies in FCP

3) Export in 4k or 2K No Loss or 3a) Export in Blu-Ray

Assuming of course the proxies are just guides and when exporting we
export from the original files..

Visual guides would be sooo cool.. If not.. when i figure it out, might do a video tutorial myself

Do a search for "Crimson" itīs a program written by ibloom, and well worth the money. On the webpage there are video tutorials how to use Crimson and how you conform your Proxy-Edited Masterpiece in Redcine and get it back to FCP in 2K or HD from the original R3Dīs.

Link to the program:

If your project is short enough you can offline all the clips in your sequence and manually reconnect them with your online clips. You won't be able to do a one light in RedCine but it is less expensive. Also, you have to manage all the assets on your own-which can get complicated if you're not well organized.

Just another workflow....
