REDCODE/FCP Question

I think this may be addressed somewhere - my apologies if so.

I've noticed REDCODE available in the codecs list in FCP and wondered if I output from RedCine with it and then edited - Well, is this possible? I feel like I remember something about it not being possible at this time?

Just curious, would test myself but not around the office right now.
