what do you have planned for camera service? Will we have to ship it to your HQ if - god forbid - something happens to it, even something minor? How do you foresee to deal with things of that nature?

With just a few days left 'till NAB, an event that will mark the very first official public showing of the existence of the alien technology that is collectively known as RED, I think that right now is probably about the WORST time ever to try to contact them.

This has been discussed many times before, I'd recommend a search.

Simply put, they will have a pool of cameras used to rapidly replace a malfunctioning camera in the field. As for repairs, the rest has not been announced. My guess? You break it, you buy it. They break it, they fix it. I wouldn't expect much of an official word on this front until cameras start shipping. That said, remember who we're dealing with... RED will take care of its customers.
