Hi everyone,
I've been hanging around on the forum for quite a while now, reading dozens of topics and watching dozens of films on reddelay (congratulations for "Brooklyn Grit", my favourite, wonderful grading, the extract from "Suspicion" and "igor_4k_h264").
My first topic is about the Red presentation that happened last saturday at Locared, as almost every two weeks I think, since a few months.
I had first seen the camera at the Micro Salon 2008 on the TSF stand, I had been able to listen for about 45 minutes many cinematographers asking questions about it, but this was the first time I could really see "on field".

We first had a long and interesting oral presentation of the camera and its technical specifications. I guess most of us already knew a few things but I also learnt very interesting others.
Then came the physical presentation of the camera. The 40 people present were all surrounding the camera an trying to test it, too bad that the light sucked (the wonderful weather of Paris), we couldn't really appreciate the test I think.
Then we were able to go to the Scratch station with also an interesting presentation from the french reseller. I unfortunately missed the editing on FCP, I was still watching Scratch.
Thanks to the Locared team for this interesting presentation.

ps: I don't know if I'm posting in the right section, sorry about that
