Is there a guide for the LCD or EVF where one can set frame lines - eg: 1.85/1 or 2.35/1?

Yes, markers/framelines has been confirmed.
Exactly how, and which formats has not been told.

I do remember somewhere people were speculating on creating custom Photoshop overlays to give any sort of overlay you wanted. I have no idea whether or not this will be part of the final specs as we have not seen anything visual for the display outputs on the EVF/LCD yet. Shouldn't be too hard to implement though given you can plug an SD card in the side with camera settings etc. Why not have a folder with the overlays in there as well which the camera can access and switch between when the user chooses?

It's customizable in camera. You can choose your own aspect ratio. I believe.

It would be nice if outside area would be darkened little bit.

If the photoshop overlay thing becomes a reality, that'd be super easy to accomplish.

Good to hear - I wouldn't mind if the thing was darkened or not - just had enough of "whats the frame line" dialogue on set to last me a lifetime.
