Sorry ... could not think of any other way to express my fillings!:w00t: :w00t: :w00t:

After an incredible two year venture there and back, the multitudes of events, the ups and downs, and ...

The cameras have finally made it HOME!!! (well technically only #349 is staying home).

TRAVIS, you are a great guy, thanks so much for your patient and attention to details, over and over, but at last we deeded!!! KELLY, your ever presence, and support has been appreciated more then words can say!!!

Jim, you and your FANTASTIC team, have really done it!!! The impossible has become possible, Thank you for bringing this tool to life, now I can bring to life my own DREAMS with IT!!!

Ciao

NOTE:

Didn't wanted to post any unboxing photos etc. really creasy arround here today, but I did tucked a couple of very bad shots of the three bodies and the "RED CARBON RODS" they are BAD@!! Every one here was in the WOW! Factor in their faces as I unveil them, beautifully crafted and extremely light, and I mean extremely light, you don't even fill them in your hands.

Thanks guys,

footage will come as soon as I get my Birger, as I have the entire L series lens set from Canon, and decided not to get any lenses for now, as the new RED 18-85 and their primes sound sooo promising, and I'll get a chance to see them shortly at NAB, but I'll likely rent some out for a week or two! Got shoot something or some body soon or it kills me!

The RED CARBON Rods (not fiber) are just Bad$#@, love them. if when I come to South Beach you haven't got yours yet, then I'll show them to you.

HAMLET, BASSAM, VALDE, CORRADO and Rivai, thank you!!!

Yes Hamlet, the "L"'s are waiting, and I have decided to wait till I put them to the test before buying any glass, so lets hope Birger ships w/o any further delays!

Well Bassam, the financials are never problems, are just situations, which can be resolved and resolved have been.

Valde, Cannes is what I'm working on right now, well and NAB, but taking "TWELVE" gilrs along is not an easy planning, and I'm still missing "FOUR", so casting still going on don't know if I can pul it off this fast, only 30 days left.

Corrado, carissimo, le mie Bimbe staranno ben protette con Papa', ricorda che la mia invitazione ti e' sempre aperta, casa mia e' casa tua.

Rivai, envy can be a good motivator.

Hey Ketch,

What advantages would you expect with the Red 18-85 over their L series equivalent? I am going the L-series route at first, due in part to your posts.
BTW, I hope to meet you next week.

I hope to meet you as well Frank.

The Canon "L" glass, is made and designed around Still Photography in mind, and can not be compared to any Cine glass, and RED stands in a place of their own, as far as I'm concerned, the design and price point of their glass it is a category of its own, but still designed as Cine glass and not Still Photography glass, so the differences will be more then few, starting from build of mechanism including focusing gear, etc. The image quality that both lenses might produce is a different story as the "L" has yet to be fully tested, and the RED 18-85 and their Primes are not out and available as yet, so talking about one for the other is not possible.

However I truly have high hopes for the "L" glass by Canon, but it will not replace in any way the RED glass or that of other leading industry manufacturers such as ARRI/ZEISS, COKE and OPTIMO, different lenses, at different prices, for different needs!
