Is quicktime 7.4.1 compatable with Red QT proxies?

I'm running OSX 10.5.2. Is quicktime 7.4.1 okay to install? I did a quick search and couldn't find any info on it.

Yeah, it'll work. Then update to 7.4.5 [it should be offered to you after the 7.4.1 update].

Quicktime 7.4 is what killed the proxies in 10.4, but things seem to be behaving better in 10.5 [just a little slower].
