I apologize if this has been covered but a search of "Red Weight" doesnt bring up anything specific.
I would like to know the approximate weight and length of the centre of gravity for a RED ONE with a basic production pack, red battery red drive and LCD.
The data for lenses, matteboxes and followfocuses vary and are more readily available.
Thanks

Basic production pack I cannot answer but I do know from a post from another gentlemen with his completely built system with a huge Cooke 18-100, matte box, FF, drive, battery, Rods Top & Bottom, etc. weighed in at 47lbs with a center of gravity was right around the camera's lens mount.
That lens is 13.5 pounds and the matte box he's using is about 5 pounds so subtract the difference of these weights from the lens & matte box weight from that you will be using from 47lbs and you will have your answer. Center of gravity further back in the camera body somewhere and slightly dependent on if you mount your battery and drive on top or hanging out the back on the lower rods.
Below is a link to a comprehensive list of Cine lens details... What they weigh, Front Lens Diameter, Minimal focusing distance, etc.

There are several posts where people have weighed each little item individually, including cables and such and reported their exact weights, but apparently I'm as weak as you are at doing searches because I couldn't find them either...
