SCARLET NLE compatibility

I really do hope first that scarlet is what we expect.

Next comes the question, will it be easy to edit scarlet footage? quicktime possibly? will vegas pro be able to edit it since it can handle 2,048 by 2,048?
How about audio which is often overlooked, are we gonna always use double system? is putting good preamp for a change in a camera too hard?

There have been guesses from a director's viewfinder to a still camera, to a 4k with PL lenses!

Oh yes! The topic will soon morph from speculation to how the hell are we going to edit that great footage the little thing is spitting out for us! I hope it turns out to be as good or better as everybody is expecting and delivers a one, two, three punch knock out to the industry.
