anyone else planning on going to the local 600 iatse HD lighting workshop Saturday 31st ? I am planning on it because number 1 = I need to learn up on some HD techniques considering I'm coming from 24p and some 16mm background. If anyone else is planning on attending can u please give me details such as start time? in the payment pdf is has the price and all the info u need to fill out but no times!

do u guys have any information as far as "CALL TIME" or how long the program lasts and what kind of camera we will be working with? im guessing panavision genesis but i could be wrong

It's not going to be like a workshop where everyone participates and gets to play with the camera. If it's like every other lighting workshop I've been too, you set your ass down in a seat and watch a demo of pro DP's light a scene based on some situation. Don't expect too much for $100 bucks, but if you pay attention, you'll get alot out of it.

It won't matter what camera really, it's a lighting workshop.

I'll be the guy in the first row shooting Lubezki's portion with an HVX and an AC to swap out P2 cards, grrr. :wacko:
