We LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the Sonnet F2 - it now part of our set kit on any and all Offhollywood RED jobs.

Been testing the holy hell out if for job that shoots around the world.

This thing is a MUST HAVE.

I want to do something with one of these:
http://www.addonics.com/products/raid_system/ae4rcs25nsa.asp

Could set up a 1.3TB portable RAID with it pretty easily.

[Edit: They sell portable eSATA config already I see - "Zebra Disk Array with integrated Hardware Port Multiplier" at $215]

So it copies errors across ? What controls the "1" ?

I fly in the AM - too much last minute stuff to do - but yeah, I'll party in Vegas tomorrow night -

you can control the "1" with SoftRaid, etc. - you use a checksum copy utility - can also keep them as separate drives - and make two separate copies, etc. - we continue to build our own injest application -
