So i was thinking of buying a Basson steadycam or a similar product for my red.. but thats another 5 grand i dont have! and im over tacking that onto my business loan for the red one and accessories.. so does anyone know a good place to rent one in the LA area.. I would like to offer up my own steadycam operations as well... and YESSSS i do have experience.. i have done workshops and used them on set! But i wasnt the producer and i have no idea where it was rented from.... please let me know.. and if you know the prices per day/week

Never seen one myself, but I've only ever heard negative things about the Basson rig. Probably easier if you would post specifically which rig you would be interested in renting (don't even know if there are any rental Bassons anyway).

I know Birns and Sawyer rents the Flyer and apparently might be considering getting an Archer. Red One will be too heavy for the Flyer, though.
Call the Birns and Sawyer rental manager (Robert?) and tell him you want to rent an Archer.

yah no i dont mean i want to rent the basson.. I want to rent any good rig that will support a fully loaded red one
