Best / Most compact PHANTOM power box

The time has come for me to do some serious run and run with my red and sennheiser 416. With the present phantom power issues I will need an external phantom power supply. will any Beachtek I can pick up do just fine, or is there something better out there?

I am unfamiliar with this as I have always used camera power or my Sound Devices 302. Does the quality of the phantom power supply matter at all, or is it fine to use whatever I can find that small and cheap since it's just supplying power?

i use a Denecke PS-1 phantom power unit ...
i believe if you talk to most pro soundman they'll tell you not all phantom power is equal ...

Just saw your post now Nick, thanks a lot.

I got the Denecke PS-1 but I will call them and see what they recommend.

I wonder if B16 fixes phantom issues..
