With the recent discussion of James Cameron's article regarding 3D and 48 frames per second, I got to thinking that maybe shooting at 48 fps could be cool. But how would one go about "skip printing" a 24 fps version in FCP? Is this even possible?

Set the clip speed to 200%.

FCP automatically skip prints when dragging a 48fps clip into a 24p sequence. It will drop every other frame.
