I will have to evaluate last minute tickets closer to the date (apr 16'th?).
I'm comitted to a project with a totally wishy washy schedule.
I'd love to meet you guys down there though.
Shrimp cocktails anyone?
Any cheap hotels close to the center?
Dale you going?
J
Now I'm actually considering cashing in travel points for a quick trip. I couldn't find the previous thread about which days might be best for Red events/screenings (is search function down?). So did anybody ever conclude which days of NAB are the best Red days?

No, just got back into town and have a million deadlines looming. Must work - pay bills - buy Red.
Cheers,
Dale

Sean, I heard day one would be best but it will be a zoo. Or you can go on the last day when most people are trying to leave. Of course all the announcements would have been over by then.

I am headed there and would like to meet some of you Toronto boys when I am there. I am in Calgary and I find some commercials and music vids shoot the majority of things in Toronto and then head west for some mountain shots. So it would be great to meet some of you.

Have a great time at NAB. I'll be up in Inuvik for a few weeks, but hope to meet you all when you get back.

I'll be at NAB.
And to digress, I'll mention that the US has spicy mcchicken and we don't. Damn. It's probably not even real food, but I'll probably eat a few because we don't have it here.

Hi Guys,
Just for those CANADIANS going to the show...
There is a Canadian hospitality suite at The Flamingo Hilton upstairs (sorry can't remember the ballroom) that involves networking and a few drinks (or as many as you can hold) between 6PM and 8PM on the monday, tuesday and wednesday nights. This event is sponsored by several Canadian dealers and also manufacturers to cover the costs involved.
This has been a tradition for years, but thought I'd pass it on as some of you may not know about it. For the last 10 or 11 NABs I've personally attended...the hospitality suite has been a great way to network with people from across our huge country!
Perhaps Tuesday night we can meet at the inside of the main entrance at 7PM??
Oh, and PS...there's no food there...so eat a hotdog / powerbar / bag of chips / spicy McChicken before you get there!!
