No taxes on my order and I gave them my FedEx # for shipping. There were mistakes on the first 2 emails and then I got the correct final total and invoice.

Hey guys, just a heads up. Tax's and shipping are not included in you invoice, but you are obligated to pay them (or provide a shipping #). So make sure you give yourself a little cushion when you send in your money. if I remember correctly tax was 8.25% (3% with tax credit form).

Sales tax is only charged in California, same state RED is in. Anywhere else in the country is tax free. Worth having a friend in Arizona take delivery and send it back to you!

Mystery solved. Knowing we'd ship A LOT of cameras today, we started pre-picking orders yesterday to stage for shipping today. Once an order is picked, it looks like it is "delivered" to our email system and, therefore, does not send a "your camera is ready" email on something that appears already delivered. So, my bad for not catching this nuance - but good news, it means it was ready for pickup. And, just in case, still having our webmaster blast you those emails to those who did not get one in a custom blast...

Yes, the guys in the BOMB SQUAD and warehouse put in long days the last two days to get ready to get you your orders. Glad to see people already getting tracking numbers :) Enjoy!

UPDATE - So the people who had their orders pre-picked on Monday (see my post on previous page) did not get the "Your order is ready" email, like I said. So, I had the webmaster reblast. If you are in this group and your totals look screwed up, it is because we sent you the email AFTER we had picked your order. So, it is kind of like telling you your dinner is ready after you have already eaten :)

Basically, the email system looks at an order and emails what has not been delivered. If it has been prepped for delivery, it is not in the email.

Long story short, if your email looks jacked up, it means your camera is almost in your hands, haha. Your order itself is not screwed up, just what the email is showing may be off.

FYI... RED #1877 was delivered a couple of hours ago. Sent wire last Friday. Got tracking yesterday. That's three full business days between payment and delivery. Remarkable.

No, with firmware upgrades changing functionality all the time, by the time we printed a manual, we'd have to trash it and go to print with the next version :)

In the camera box should be a tray that includes a mini-XLR to XLR cable, a BNC to DIN cable, a SD CARD, and a BOLT SET.
