Does Red have a loaner plan? When I purchased my Sony Betacam 400 from Band Pro in 1992, they had instant loaners and rapid in house repairs.
Even replaced a unit in the first three weeks-- no hassle. Two year block replacement warranty. Killer tech support, loaners, and rapid repairs are a must for professional users.

Any camera that isn't purchased [read: somebody backs out of their reservation] will go into a loaner pool. I suspect that if somebody has a problem right off the bat, one of those first cameras [that Jim et al will own] would pinch hit for the customer's downed camera.
