Workflow

I realise there is a whole forum dedicated to workflow, and I have been steadily trawling through it since yesterday. However I want to bring up the workflow in terms of the scarlet: What system is needed to handle it and how much it will cost.

From what I can currently see there is very little support for PC based NLE's. Whereas Apple Macs seem to have good support but for a hefty premium.

Am just curious what will be needed to edit 3k. What people are currently using and what potential Scarlet owners are thinking. Really am just looking to start a discussion.

I currently use Vegas and love it.

dont think it supports 3k though.
I really wish RED would be more supportive of PC NLE's - I would love to use Vegas to edit redcode!

It's quite easy RED One is at the moment 4K with 36MB/s files. Scarlet is going to be 3K with 100MB/s files.

Whatever is discussed right now will be needed or more. As for PC I can't help you but it will become available.
