Hi RED Newb,
This is one of the reasons why so many of us that do this for a living are so excited. We will soon be working with gear that is not crippleware or heavily compromised. We will have a nice, flexible camera sytem that can easily support many revenue streams depending on the camera/lens setup. Hope this helps. There is alot to read, please enjoy.

Sure you can use it. You could use it (sell on ebay) towards a RED deposit.

you could make an adapter for the camera which would allow you to use 1/3 inch chip size thereby simulating the look from a home video camera.
I think its a million dollar idea.

Hi,
If you made a 35/35 adapter, you would loose plenty of resoloution. That would make focus pulling so much easier! I am sure somebody will try! LOL.
