Scarlet and EPIC vs the rest of the world....
Sorry but have to make some assumptions about future specs...
Poll assumes
EPIC is 100fps 5k and have superior DR to RED One
RED one will be upgraded to 100fps at 4k

No one can make any valid decision until final specs are released - so what's the point ?

That's what I'm doing. Hoping for more dynamic range. Currently, it's good, but nothing like film.

It depends on the avalable upgrade for RED One and how much it'll cost.

Why upgrade a RED ONE, your still stuck with the same hardware
limitations that caused the consideration and planning of EPIC.
If a complete hardware upgrade was offered, Sensor,MB,Processor
and Graphics, this would be a worthwhile option IMHO.
Perhaps we could call this RED TWO.
That is if the company is genuine about a 3 tier product structure.

It is a snap shot in time of what spec REDusers think is important to their buisness.
Product doesn't have to exist to do a suvey of what peoples real desires are..
ie x% would prefer 5k with 100fps to 4k at 30fps.
