I think you just wrote down RED's product line.
Congrats.
It's already titled "RED Camera Kit for Digital Cinematography".
The question was about to compare with other competition kits from... brands listed above at the tread head.

It's not a "camera kit" .
It's a "fanboy list of available RED cameras".
A camera kit refers to something different.

It's not a "camera kit" .
A camera kit refers to something different.
You could call it a RED KIT FOR DIGITAL CINEMATOGRAPHY that would consist 3 cameras with 5K, 4K AND 3K acquisition sizes (4K is shipping), one player (RED RAY), several cine lenses (zooms and a set of primes) and RED accessories.
Is this sound better for you now?

Kit for digital cinematography... What is that?
The player is for post production or parties, the cameras are for production. It don't mix, brutha. It's not like this is a $29.99 affair and you a throw a sock in too.
Plus, while people will mix Red and Scarlet or Epic and Scalret on purpose during a production, you're not going to make a "kit" out of a $20K and a $30K camera.
The Epic does everything the Red does, and more. If you already have a Red and buy an Epic, yes, you'll use both of them on the same production.
But look out for professional shoots purchasing or renting a Red and an Epic instead of two of either. Keep looking. No, just look.
Therefore, your thread is not about a kit of any sort, but simply a list of available products.

The point is that in a near future when you would like to shoot your movie digital you can simply said:
"I WANT TO SHOOT WITH RED KIT"
What the RED kit consist is described above.
So there are the options for each particular shot and then you can use for example this or that combination.
RED KIT: collection of RED digital cameras, 4K player, cine lenses and accessories arranged for convenient digital cinematography.
That's all about RED KIT.
Hope this helps now.

That's very cool, dawg.
Would you shoot long shots with the Scarlet, and close-ups with the EPIC, or the other way around?
I haven't formed my opinion on that yet, so I'd like to find out what you think.
P.S: one thing is for sure. The RED ONE is the best for angled shots.

Compare a digital movie maker with for example a drummer.
Compare the tools.
Drumer has a drum kit.
Digital movie maker has a RED kit.
Just to give you an idea...

I know what you're saying, sensei. Give people film, and they'll make stew. But give them a RED KIT, and out comes music.

You do what ever you want.

(Or am I the only one who pictures Sanjin less like Orson Welles and more like Kenneth Mars?)

Yeah, a kit is a collection of products specifically selected to optimize a task -- a make-up kit, a drum kit, a camera kit. It isn't just collecting all available products from a particular manufacturer.
