Applaud, GOOD SERVICE from RED!!!

I see we have Complaint Department group but we do not have antonym group of the kind. Admire or applaud group.

I can’t help myself but publicly admire, the service department of RED.
I had minor problem with the audio board on RED and had to send it back from East coast all the way to West Coast to RED service department.

Well, after opening the trouble ticket and RED making sure that it is not operator error, and without any action from my side, the FeDex guy showed up at 2PM the same day to pickup my camera.

I called RED next day around 3PM just to make sure RED got my camera.
Well, camera was there since 9:30 AM and they already fixed it and they are just going through standard check all/ tune all procedure including back focus check and upgrade from firmware V13 to V15. Holy s#$!&. I was speechless.

Next, I received e-mail confirming shipment the same day at 4:45PM
Well, following day I cam to the office at 9AM and I met FeDex guy at the door, ‘good morning Sir, here is your package from West Coast’ I couldn’t believe, never happen to me before and I had a lot of hardware in my hands in last 30 years or so, believe me.

Brian Fairbanks, John Restivo, Sean Ruggeri just to mention the few, GREAT JOB!!


Moderator, could you open the APPLAUD group for good feelings posts like this, please.

Good to hear.

Forget the pixels and specs, it is the people that make the biggest difference and I think this is where Red really stands apart from competitors :bleh:
