if you have two machines, a mac and a pc and can network them, it's just a case of copying the file across the network. Are you trying to physically mount the NTFS drive in your Mac?

Hi Kaya,
connect your external NTFS-HD on your mac and copy data with macdrive. Try it as a trial version. If its ok for you, buy it, it´s cheap

sorry, made mystake. Macdrive is for windows. If you need it other way round, take macfuse. OSX will read and write NTFS. If you will have it more comfortable check macfusion (GUI for macfuse)

Gigabit Ethernet.

LOL!

Actually, if this is for testing purposes, that's a good idea. With MacDrive on the PC, and the file on a portable disk, you won't need any transfer @ all.

Exactly, Mac Drive is extremely powerful. So is Gigabit ethernet. I suggest both as neither of them are hard to get. A gigabit switch is $30 and cables are $5-25 depending on desired length.

I couldn't use a PC without MacDrive, its a staple in the creative world.
