So if you are shooting a rock concert following the lead singer around the catwalk from say 3-10 feet away...with either a RED or 2/3" broadcast cam/sensor...I'd imagine you'd keep focus manual and do that on the fly, but what about the aperture...would you just keep one setting for the whole show or would you be able to adjust that at all during a show?
Bear in mind the colors are constantly changing...the brightness and darkness is constantly changhing (drastically)...the lead singer is usually under a bright spotlight, but not all the time..sometimes no spotlight and it's dark...sometimes a dim spotlight..sometimes different color spotlights, etc....typical big rock show?
How do you shoot this?
