Just a request for sanity check on sensor size calculations, Dragon vs. Mysterium-X: So the full MX sensor (5k FF) is just a hair smaller than the Dragon 5.5 FF format. One should be able to extrapolate this to calculate equivalent formats all the way down the line, yes? E.g. MX 4k would be roughly 4 / 5 * 5.5 = 4.4, or 4.5k on Dragon. And that would hold for the different aspect ratios - 2:1, 16:9, what have you?

If anyone's got a link to a MX vs. Dragon format diagram, a la the really nice ones Phil Holland has put together for Red vs. film, that would be great.

The context here is multi-camera shoots with a mix of MX and Dragon cameras - i.e. shooting Dragon interchangeably with MX, and having the footage match well.

Ummm.... Right at the top of the stickies in this very forum section:

Dragon sensor is 6144x3160 and pixels are 0.005mm square in size.

MX sensor is 5120x2700 and pixels are 0.0054mm square in size.

There isn't a good MX vs Dragon comparison chart though. In fact, the only one that lists MX, I don't actually see the bounding box.

EDIT: Nevermind. The MX is the grayed out part of the diagram.
