Does anyone remember what the name is or have the link to the crazy robot arm precision camera crane thing that was posted in Recon maybe a year and a half ago?

Thanks Curran,

No that thing I'm thinking of was even more high tech than this. It was more like a robot arm from a car assembly line than a arm mounted on a tripod. Capable of really crazy quick camera moves...

Yes, let me know what you want to do and possibly we can sort it for you. We got the milo (big and quite slow, and a 6-axis Mitsubishi RV-6 Industrial robot which is small and scary fast :)

no matter if Spike, Bots & Dollys or Cmocos the robot behind that is always from kuka

http://www.kuka-robotics.com

MRMC with its milo and Cyclops have a different approach but also work with a Robot Arm for there BOLT! System (not sure if its a kuka)

Probably the "Spike" from Marmalade.

Mark Roberts Motion Control builds a similar one called the "BOLT" that I've used and it's incredible.

Someone could earn a lot of money by making a piece of software that works generically with Kuka arms. They're pretty cheap on ebay.
