Hopefully, and from the little lever on the Epic NAB brocure renders, REDs standard baseplate for the Epic will be Arri compatible, no more "sliding shoulder dovetail with no safety lock and sucks on tripod" baseplate, my big RED accessories complaint. Oh, and owners/potential owners/naysayers need to quit being threatened by the Epic, your RED One will live a long and happy life if you choose, no ones forcing you to abandon you R1, epsecially RED.
