This maybe old news, but how is the new Adobe CS3 going to stack up as an editor for 4k. Here's some info from the web site

10-bit and 16-bit color resolution support
Maintain source integrity with support for 10-bit video and 16-bit PSD files.

32-bit internal color processing
Maintain maximum image quality with subtle and dramatic changes to color, contrast, and exposure, free of the banding and artifacts caused by lower bit-depth processing.

➤ Timewarp
Use the same Timewarp effect found in After Effects to create high-quality slow motion through pixel-motion analysis. The Timewarp filter gives precise keyframe control over every parameter, producing the highest quality results on the most difficult source content

Auto-color adjustment
Instantly improve your video image quality with filters like those in Photoshop, including Auto Color, Auto Contrast, and Shadows/Highlights.

Support for all media types
Import and export major video, audio, and graphic file formats, including QuickTime, Windows Media, AVI, BWF, AIFF, JPEG, PNG, PSD, TIFF, and more.

Still-image file support
Import still-image files in any major format including PSD, BMP, GIF, EPS, JPEG, PCX, PICT, PNG, and TIFF. Export in BMP, GIF, TARGA, and TIFF formats.

4K film production
Import, edit, and output image sequences with dimensions up to 4,096x4,096 pixels.

Nice. I hope that Timewarp feature will be a little more intuitive than time remapping in AE.

I think it was the creativecow magazine (although it might have been DV) where they talked about how on Superman, they really enjoyed using Premiere even though they were also editing on an avid. The premiere setup had less problems for them than the avid (no offense to the all powerful avid).

I'm way excited for the new version of CS3, after the 4 hour install :) of the Master collection, I'll be ready with almost every program adobe makes.
