The Broadcast Asia conference and exhibits will be held at Singapore Expo June 17-20, 2008. Since many Red owners will be in Singapore, let us all try to meet each other to exchange calling cards, share info., workflow, support each other, etc.
How do you suggest we meet? Maybe wear a full red shirt or T-shirt, and lets all meet over lunch or dinner? But let us not meet when the big parties are on (Cine Eq & FEG usually have big parties during Broadcast Asia).
Any suggestions? I suggest posting your name, company name, Red SN#, mobile tel #, and when you suggest we can meet.

1st Broadcast Asia was held in HKG back in 1990. HKG is a gateway to CHINA, and BIRTV ( http://www.birtv.com/english/about.asp) is one of the biggest event in ASIA like NAB in states and IBC in Europe.
Ted was @BIRTV Beijing last year.
China is a big market for RED Ray and Scarlet, and one of the biggest D-Cinema networks in the world!!!
In HK alone we will have 15 RED ones by this September ( Near BIRTV 2008 )
Remember HK and CHINA are holding O' Games 2008 in August.

RED Digital Cinema is a S35mm + PL mount camera ( No Tape )
Why Broadcast Asia to know RED ?
CINE ASIA is the show and place though.
IAFT in PH ( ASIA ) is doing great to teach their students to know the Films making but no Film processing " Save the planet " to avoid any chemical pollution.
PLease forgive me to say something deeply turth from the bottom of my RED heart.
