Just a couple weeks of testing then planning to shoot a feature in June. In prep for that now. Ultra-Low budget.

The story synopsis is 'Sam Evans, a thirty-something coffee shop owner, is shocked to discover that his long lost father Robert wants to rekindle a relationship with him after abandoning him and his mother thirty-one years previous. Their journey begins at the local pool circuit level, playing doubles tournaments in bars and taverns. This soon escalates as Sam finds himself forced to prove his love for his father after a terminal illness renders his father incapacitated and unable to compete in the WorldPool tournament, a high-stakes and well-known nationwide tournament, a tournament his father was never able to win.'

I`m sold...Sounds like a great opportunity for some really nice interiors...How far have you gotten so far with the logistics?

Are you completely independent on this one or are you hooked up with the system? I hear its a very vibrant scene over there.

Why does Sam have to prove his love to his long lost Father? Is the story based on personal experiences or where did you get the inspiration for it?

Yes, completely independent. Festival route. We're looking at almost 20 scheduled shoot days. Weekends and some evenings.

Sam decides to rekindle a relationship as per his fathers request because he wants to prove to himself that he was right for hating his father for all those years. (Mom's influence)

Sam learns forgiveness, and proves his love to his father because he believes in family. There are other things that lead up to why he did it, but it would be better to see it unfold on the big screen.
