Physical dimensions of the sensor for 2k cropped

Hey guys, I'm updating a python script that automatically converts an XSI camera to real world camera specs. I'm sticking in the Red One right now but was wondering if anyone knows the actual dimensions of the sensor for 2k cropped. The full sensor is 24.4mm x 13.7mm but I don't think it's as simple as just literally cropping half width and height to give me 12.2mm x 6.85mm. Is it?

Oh, also... 24.4mm x 13.7mm is the full sensor. Is there anyway to find out the used size of the sensor for 4k @ 2:1 and 4k @ 16x9? Uhh, and I guess 3k also since that format seems to be doing well.
