Does anyone have experience with your quicktime proxy image being soft? The R3D looks good in RedCine and if I import the proxy into MPEG Streamclip it looks sharp. I want to view dailies in quicktime because it would be easiest, but the image is so soft that it is distracting.
I am shooting 2:1, 25 fps.

Any ideas?

The proxies are proxies... I've seen softening and colorshifts when I hit play... Does not affect your production, though as long as the original is in focus.

I got it. My version of quicktime didn't have the option of high quality, so I updated. They look great now. Thanks for the good advice.
