Good day. 2 days ago we start working on 1 project with sound. It will be small film. We rent sound recorder , ATTON and Slate with Time Code.
It working fine , but only 1 problem that we have is that if you are shuting down camera and changing bat you need to sinc recorder with camera every time.
Can some body tell me is it fine or i need to get some free run time code device.
I'm not godd with time codes sow please help me.

You need a timecode generator like Denecke Syncbox or Ambient Lockit. The Aaton and the generator must be jammed (=synced). The box will guarantee a frame accurate relation between audio and video, even when you turn the Red off and on again. Your soundman and post-production should know how this works.

Thanks. I will get it. Problem is like Sound team did't have sync box , because it was Film Project , and now it is RED project .
