dumb question ?

I posted a question on this subject a while ago but never really got a response.

I asked Stuart in a private message but got no reply.

Is this just a dumb question ?

Could anyone explain to me why the Red has both Varispeed and Timelapse modes when it would make more sense just to have one mode that does it all.

Why can't varispeed cover everything from very slow frame rates to very high frame rates ?

What is the advantage of having to change mode when going from 1fps to 1 fp2s ?

Timelapse includes the options of burst rate (number of frames per trigger) and single frame mode. I'd prefer them separate.

Me too, it´s allready a hassle to go into two menues to get into slomo shooting, i don´t want to have one more option to go wrong if you´re in a hurry to setup a shot.
