4h28 as in 4 hours 28 min? :w00t:
4h28 means 4 hours and 28 minutes is duration of the CHE movie that consists, as we knew it from before, The Argentine and The Guerrilla as a two parts.
BTW. the screening starts tomorrow WED 21 MAY 18.30 Cannes time.
Still enough time for all Red users to bookmark the link (http://www.ifc.com/cannes) :) :) :) .

Duh!
Amusing quote at wikipedia, sorry if its been posted many times before: (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Guerrilla_(film)#Production):
Soderbergh will shoot both films back to back over a 90-day period beginning in May 2007 with most of the dialogue in Spanish. According to an interview in Sight and Sound magazine, the first film "will be shot in 16mm anamorphic" and "The second is in Super-16, 1.85:1. No dollies, no cranes, it's all either handheld or tripods. I want it to look nice but simple. We'll work with a very small group: basically me, the producer Gregory Jacobs and the unit production manager."
I guess he won't be shooting 16mm again...

CANNES RED CARPET LIVE!!!!
WED 21 MAY
18:30 (6:30 pm Cannes time)
- Premiere of Steven Soderbergh's "Che",
shot on RED,
starring Benicio Del Toro, Franka Potente and Benjamin Bratt.
Hosted online by IFC News' Matt Singer.
The story: Two films by Soderbergh, The Argentine and Guerrilla,
will screen as a single four-hour film. The first follows Che Guevara
as he arrives in Cuba from Mexico in 1956 and helps Castro unseat
the Batista regime. The second begins with his trip to New York,
where he spoke at the United Nations in 1964, followed by his
disappearance into the jungles of South America and his eventual death in Bolivia.
The cast: Benicio Del Toro plays Guevara,
leading a cast of well-known actors including Franka Potente, Julia Ormond, Benjamin Bratt,
Lou Diamond Phillips and Catalina Sandino Moreno.
The buzz: Although there is plenty of excitement about Soderbergh's Spanish-language opus,
no domestic buyer has yet taken the risk on the costly venture.
The director has been working furiously to complete the films.
He won the Palme d'Or in 1989 for his first film, sex, lies and videotape,
and was also in Competition in 1993 with King Of The Hill. The Limey (1999)
and Ocean's Thirteen (2007) played out of competition.

Yeah, first feature ever shot with Red One prototypes and we watched the first of it... it is a kind of revolutionary feeling when thinking of how revolutionary the camera is and is supposed to be.

Hey Concrete, if possible, could you post a direct link. I looked but can't seem to find the clips?

That's because they were broadcast live online, there aren't any downloadable content of it... at least not yet.
That's why it was such a great feel to see them.
