It would be neat to see some sort of graphic that shows this.

Certainly not a company secret I would think. We could even have a little countdown type widget.

your best bet is to watch the "Unboxing" forum on the bottom of the main page. That's where people report when they've received their cameras

The email I got from RED on April 16 said- "Congratulations, you have (1) RED ONE™ camera(s) that are nearly ready to ship."

Of course, that was before they announced the latest delay, which seems about to be over pretty soon.

I got mine a week ago.
However it came without bottom plates, shoulder dovetails, 24" rods, Arri 19mm bases.
So I can't mount the camera on anything since the standard Arri plate will not fit, Red made the threads in different position at the bottom of the camera body.
Their customer representative is very cooperative and is trying very hard to complete my order.
I would rather wait a few more weeks and receive a camera which is operational, not to mention the EVF which I don't have a clue when I get it.
Sometimes rushing is not an advantage but a missed one.

the bottom plate should be delivered WITH the cam, thatīs right.
seems there are still behind with this stuff, hope it will be better next weeks.

really? u'd rather not receive the camera, even though it's available, until you can you get the accessories you ordered?

Can't join you on that one. as long as it takes pictures, i want it here ASAP!

feel free to send me your camera. I'll make sure to have it back when your other goodies arrive.
