No answer for two days already. Got accessories on order and payed for. Sent two emails asking for status update. Made clear that I am really in a hurry because starting shooting next week and... nothing.

Sander. When you need things urgently, the best approach is to call RED directly. Talk to your sales rep on the phone. I think you will find they are actually pretty good about making themselves available via phone.

Just got an email back from RED and all is good. Guess I am getting nervous for the shoot :waaa:
I will think about calling RED the next time but the thing is that I am on the other side of the world and it's in the middle of the night for CA working hours here.

Despite all the criticism I don't save from Red, I must say that I applied with a technical question and I got an answer very... very... very fast, and it was by mail.

Okay, then I DO have a suggestion for RED: how about some auto response in the sense of "it's a holiday now in the US but we'll get back to you on ..."?

We had a "We are closed for the Memorial Day holiday" message if you called into RED. I will ask the reps to each do a holiday away email message moving forward.
