Has Red One been tested against temperature conditions yet? Just wondering... if it has an excellent resistance to temperature, I'm sure a lot of people out there would love using a digital camera for background plate photography in remote locations such as Antarctica, Scandinavian mountains, etc., i.e. places where it is difficult to shoot with digital acquisition tools that are currently non-resistant to those temperatures.

We haven't done extreme temperature testing yet, but our fears of over-heating in normal temps is a thing of the past.

Well that's good news... I've been hearing rumors from self-proclaimed "experts" and "insiders" about the camera overheating left and right. I, of course, believed every word that they told me. Apparently they have a really cool bridge, too...

That's why we have an engineering department...

And considering what was going on 15 months ago, a very efficient one at that...

Hopefully the "Hot Body" will keep the battery toasty warm in our lovely canadian winters. -50 windchill anyone? I'll have to make a "thermal blimp" that goes under the raincoat.

Hey theres a new name...

I love this site.
