I hope this isn't a repeated question, but did search for it.

I shot a commercial spot on the RED and need to mix 4k 2:1 and 2k 2:1 for focal length on the lens. Now that I am cutting in FCP 6.0.2 the 4k footage runs smooth, then the 2k footage runs like it's dropping frames. (Cutting with Proxies) When I render (or auto render) the orange line goes away and the footage in the timeline goes crazy. 1 frame each from 2 or 3 clips repeat over and over mixed with a "green screen".

How do I get the render not to mess up the footage?

I'm running an 8-core 2.8 ghz 2 GB (800 MHz) OSX 10.5.2 and Qt 7.4.5

Switch your sequence codec to PRO REZ.

Party on Garth.
